1. Lester B. Pearson International Student Scholarship (Canada)

Academic Level: Undergraduate

Eligible Countries: All

Eligibility Criteria:
a. An international student (i.e. a non-Canadian requiring a study permit);
b. enrolled in your final year of senior secondary school in 2024/2025 or have graduated no earlier than June 2024
c. beginning your studies at the University of Toronto in September 2025 (students already attending post-secondary studies cannot be considered; students starting their post-secondary studies in January 2025 at another post-secondary institution cannot be considered)

2. Mastercard Foundation Scholarship (Canada)

Academic Level: Master's

Eligible Countries: All

Eligibility Criteria:
a. Be admissible to one of the eligible non-thesis programs at McGill University (as listed on the website)
b. Have never registered for / completed any graduate studies
c. Be a citizen of, and reside in a Sub Saharan African Country
d. Have a valid passport and be admissible to Canada as an International Student
e. Have an exceptional record of service and activity in your school and/or community
f. Have an intent to return to your country immediately upon the completion of your degree with the goal of transforming your community through social and economic development
g. Must be less than 35 years old at the time of application

3. McBall McBain Scholarship (Canada)

Academic Level: Master's

Eligible Countries: All

Eligibility Criteria:
a. You are a current student on track to earn your first bachelor's degree by August 2025
b. You earned your first bachelor's degree in the last five years (January 2019 or later)
c. You earned your first bachelor's degree more than five years ago, and are 20 years or younger in 2024
d. You meet the minimum degree and language requirements for McGill master's program admission

4. Ashinaga Africa Initiative

Academic Level: Undergraduate

Eligible Countries: Any African Country

Eligibility Criteria:
a. Applicants must have lost one or both parents
b. Applicants must have completed secondary school and received the results of their national secondary school examinations within the last two years or will have completed secondary school and received final exam results before February 9th, 2025
c. Be born after 1st September 2002
d. Not have the means to attend university abroad without external financial support
e. Be proficient in English, French or Portuguese
f. Be regularly ranked in the top 10% of their class during the last 2 or 3 years of secondary school
g. Be able to participate in the two Ashinaga preparatory programs, over the course of one year, before attending university
h. Be committed to return home, or to Sub-Saharan Africa, and contribute to society in Sub-Saharan African after graduating from university
i. Have no dependents who could interfere with academic progress
j. Have a good health condition to be able to study abroad

5. Rotary Peace Fellowship (USA, UK, Japan, Sweden)

Academic Level: Master's

Eligible Countries: All

Eligibility Criteria: 
a. Be proficient in English
b. Have a bachelor's degree
c. Have a strong commitment to cross-cultural understanding and peace as shown through professional and academic achievements and personal or community service
d. Have the potential for leadership
e. Have at least three years of full-time relevant experience in peace or development work

6. Knight Hennessy Scholarship (USA)

Academic Level: Master's, PhD

Eligibility Criteria:
a. You must apply to, be accepted by, and enroll in a full-time Stanford graduate degree program including, but not limited to, DMA, JD, MA, MBA, MD, MFA, MPP, MS, or PHD programs
b. You must have earned, in January 2018 or later, a U.S. bachelor;s degree or its equivalent from a college or university of recognized standing

7. The Allan and Nesta Ferguson Scholarship (United Kingdom)

Academic Level: Master's

Eligible Countries: All

Eligibility Criteria:
a. You must have held an offer before 5 May 2025 for the approved courses
b. You must be classified as overseas for tuition fee purposes
c. You must be self-funded to receive this award, i.e., not funded by a research council, goverment, private enterprise, charity or any similar organisation
d. This scholarship cannot be awarded in conjunction with any other funding awards
e. Your mode of attendance must be full-time

8. Queen Elizabeth Commonwealth Scholarship

Academic Level: Master's

Eligible Countries: Citizens (or those who hold refugee status) in a Commonwealth Country

Eligible Criteria:
a. Applicants can apply for QECS award in a country other than their home country/country of citizenship
b. You must have attained a minimum of 2:1 (or equivalent) at undergraduate level

10. Government of Ireland - International Education Scholarship

Academic Level: Master's and PhD

Eligible Criteria:
a. Applicants must have a domiciliary of origin outside the EU/EEA/Switzerland/United Kingdom
b. Must apply for admission to a relevant Master's or PhD programme
c. Applicants must have a conditional of final offer of admission to that higher education institution at the time of application
